30th May 2013 – Ever After High Website Goes Live

Ever After HighMattel has been working on a brand new high school series, a spin-off from Monster High, named Ever After High and the official site was unveiled today – EverAfterHigh.com

Mattel revealed earlier this year that they’re looking to release a global kid’s franchise every 1 to 3 years. Ever After High is their first release since this announcement.

The concept is similar to Monster High in that the kids of famous fairytale parents attend high school. However, the twist is that each character is faced with a dilemma – should they follow in their famous parents’ footsteps or not? Are they a Royal or a Rebel?

The first two dolls are expected to be Apple White and Raven Queen.

About Monster High:

Monster High is the hugely popular doll franchise. Originally launched in 2010 by Mattel, the dolls have quickly established themselves as the leading brand of dolls in the US. All the characters are either sons, daughters or inspired by famous monsters. For example, Draculaura is the daughter of Dracula and Frankie Stein is the daughter of Frankenstein. Each of the female dolls are 24cm tall with the male dolls around 27cm tall, and each character has their own head mould and unique characteristics. In addition, the dolls are fully articulated so they can be posed in many different positions.
