30th May 2013 – Ever After High Website Goes Live
Mattel has been working on a brand new high school series, a spin-off from Monster High, named Ever After High and the official site was unveiled today – EverAfterHigh.com
Mattel revealed earlier this year that they’re looking to release a global kid’s franchise every 1 to 3 years. Ever After High is their first release since this announcement.
The concept is similar to Monster High in that the kids of famous fairytale parents attend high school. However, the twist is that each character is faced with a dilemma – should they follow in their famous parents’ footsteps or not? Are they a Royal or a Rebel?
The first two dolls are expected to be Apple White and Raven Queen.

Both Lagoona and Spectra are on the box so this isn’t expected to be the final version but it’s likely that this cafe playset will be released later this year. The rumor is that this will be a Walmart exclusive.

16th May 2013 – Dead Tired Draculaura & Jewelry Box Coffin Rumor
A picture in China has emerged showing the Dead Tired Draculaura doll in a set with the Jewelry Box Coffin. The Jewelry Box Coffin stopped being produced almost two years ago so it’s price has soared since then – on Amazon and eBay you have to pay in the region of $150 for it at the moment. This year the exclusive Monster High doll at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) International Toy Fair will be Webarella, the superhero version of Wydowna Spider.

Originally proposed as a potential exclusive SDCC doll back in 2011 Mattel has finally decided to release Wydowna.
